Health and Wellbeing Coaches

Health coaches support people to make lifestyle changes to improve their health and wellbeing. 

We do this by listening closely to patients so that we can ask the important questions and use the most suitable behaviour change techniques such as: motivational interviewing, decisional balancing, strength building, and visualisation. 

Coaching sessions cover a range of areas, these include:

  • Motivation
  • Stress management
  • Self-worth
  • Eating
  • Exercise and movement
  • Managing long term conditions
  • Social health
  • Sleep

First, you and your coach will figure out where you are now and were you want to be. Then, you create a plan with small steps to reach your goals. You meet regularly to talk about how things are going, and get more ideas. You won’t be told what to do, but you will be provided with the guidance and support to make your own informed decisions. 

The sessions can be face to face, over the phone or via a video link.

We understand that behaviour change can take time, so our sessions are non judgmental, compassionate and empowering. We will also encourage you to stay accountable. With this approach, you can embark on a transformative journey towards improved health, confidence and overall well-being.
